Awards & Recognition

Since 1982, Al Clancy Jr. has been setting the pace for innovative home building in the Pikes Peak Region. His distinctive home designs and careful planning result in a home that reflects the quality of a Clancy Built Home. The company continues to win awards and gain recognition for it’s exceptional homes. Clancy was named "Builder of the Year" in 1987 by the Housing and Building Association. He has captured the "Peoples Choice Award" for the Parade of Homes six times, winning in all categories. Clancy’s 1997 Parade Home received four Industry Awards for Excellence. He has also garnered numerous MAMES, including eight awards for "Best Home". The highest honor -"The Grand Award"- was awarded to Clancy in 1989, 1993, and 1994 & 1997. The first builder to receive this prestigious award four times.

Clancy has served as past president of the Local Housing & Building Association, past board member of Pikes Peak Hospice, Tri-County Easter Seals, Colorado Springs Parks & Recreation Board, Chairmen of Regional Building Department Building Committee, and Board Member of Colorado Springs Economic Development Council.
